For this reason, he built the present-day Schönbrunn Residence - an old house that was inhabited to the end by doctors families who appreciated the combination of comfort and tranquility of the district and the excellent transport connections (10 minutes to the city center).
Today the two old houses captivate with a wonderful view over the quiet and exclusive residential area of the 14th district. Park-like gardens, the immediate proximity to the Danube and a multitude of cafes with guest gardens and terraces characterise this area and guarantee a relaxed stay in Vienna.
